In the wake of the torrential rain and associated damage across South Carolina, Southern Wesleyan University has become aware of an acute water need at Allen University. SWU is accepting donations of bottled water at Newton Hobson Chapel and Fine Arts Center on the Central campus. The drop-off location is clearly marked by a sign and yellow tape. Southern Wesleyan’s delivery team will load the donations and leave for Columbia on Thursday morning to deliver what has been collected. “This is a very short window, and we don’t have much time to make a significant difference,” said SWU President Todd Voss. “If you would be interested in helping, please buy one or more large packages of water, and drop the water off at Newton Hobson.
