“I decided to take an August morning off of work to ride up to Maine and snap some sunrise photos. I stopped at the iconic fish house in Cape Porpoise first, and shortly after the sun rose I drove to Willard Beach, just south of Portland. Unlike Cape Porpoise, there was an abundance of sea fog out on the water, kissing the coastline. In the distance I could see fishing vessels passing by and thought how cool they looked encompassed by the fog. I enjoy a low perspective, so I knelt down by the shoreline and snapped some shots of a closer fishing ship. This is the result of those shots; I love the way the water compliments the peachy tones of the sky and the silhouette of the ship.” Photo and words by kejames_photography.
