#CaptureWednesday: “I've spent my whole life in Maine, but never heard about Swan Island until this past spring. Not to be confused with Swan's Island off the coast of MDI, Swan Island sits in the middle of the Kennebec River near Richmond. It was abandoned in the 1930s, but five structures are still standing. We took a quick ferry ride over and spent the day exploring the trails and lounging by the river.
