#CaptureWednesdays: “I had been traveling through the mountains of western Maine near the Rangeley Lakes area, chasing spring storms and looking for more abstract compositions. Backlit rainstorms create some of the best lighting, so I tried to position myself with the sun above and in front of me. I used a long lens to compress and isolate this view from the beach at Ellis Pond, and watched as sheets of rain marched across the Longfellow Mountains, which are part of the AT.
