This article of clothing means a lot to me. It's a rag of a shirt but something that belonged to my dad. I've managed to hold onto it since I was really young. When I feel as though I need to speak to him I put it on before bed and "ask him questions". Lots of mixed emotions going into the D10 this Saturday. I love competition don't get me wrong, this event just means SO much more to so many families. Years ago I lost my dad to his fight against cancer. I'm sure if we sat down in a room a large Majority of us could say the same about a loved one. It's going to be a day of mixed emotions for me personally being so close to where he lived his last few days but also because of all the memories I have with him there.
