Since the death of her daughter, Gloria prays three times a day. “Because I know God has her in heaven and the Virgin is embracing her,” Gloria said. “I already dreamt of her like that.” Since her daughter’s disappearance and discovery of her remains on June 21, Gloria and her family have fought tirelessly for justice and continue to demand transparency from the U.S. Army about details of Vanessa’s death.
