Teachers and staff at Gullett Elementary in north Austin organized a parade to show their appreciation and support to students who, if not for the coronavirus, would have returned to school today after last week’s spring break. Families left the confines of their homes to wave to teachers as they passed in their cars, honking horns, holding signs and waving back to familiar faces.
