Former assistant preschool teacher Ebony Parker is facing charges of neglect after a six-year-old shot his teacher in a Virginia elementary school. The teacher survived and is now suing the school. Parker has been indicted with a grand jury saying she failed to take action after being made aware of a serious threat. The grand jury report also said that upon hearing about a shooting in the school, Parker closed the door to her office, leaving a grandmother and child in the school lobby. #gunviolence #AbbyZwerner #crime "NewsNation Now" is a no fluff, no filler newscast hosted by Nichole Berlie and Connell McShane featuring up-to-the-minute news drawing from a network of journalists across the U.S. Weekdays starting at 1p/12C.
