This National Siblings Day 👯‍♀️ we’re celebrating Diana and Ronia Noshad, the talented siblings from Tabriz, Iran, who wowed us with their art in Bow Seat’s 2023 Ocean Awareness Contest. Their painting beautifully portrays Haydeh Shirzadi, an “Iranian lover” known for her environmental activism. Inspired by her studies in Germany, Haydeh brought back an innovative idea to her homeland—a waste composting device that transforms trash into valuable compost. In their captivating artwork, Diana and Ronia depict Haydeh as a nurturing force for the planet. From her hands, plants emerge, symbolizing her dedication to environmental sustainability.
