It is with great sadness to hear the passing of H.F. “Gerry” Lenfest. Mr. Lenfest, the 2014 usrowing Man of the Year and Trustee at templeuniv, has been incredibly generous to our program, temple.crew and templeuniv. We are forever grateful for his contributions, especially in 2014 when he donated $3million to renovate the East Park Canoe Club and restore #TUWR and #TUMC to varsity status. Without him our program would not be where it is today. We are eternally grateful for your support, philanthropy and kindness. You made the city of Philadelphia better. You will forever be missed.
