“I did not come from an agricultural background, but since coming to NCState, I’ve fallen in love with animal agriculture, more specifically livestock species. I have been really active with dairy since I arrived at State, but I also had the opportunity to work at the Beef Education Unit. I also showed animals all throughout undergrad. I haven’t found many schools that have farms with these opportunities.
