Being a Black #biologist, especially a #Black plant molecular biologist can sometimes feel isolating and lonely, despite the extremely supportive and collegial environment I am fortunate enough to work in here in #NCStateCALS at NCState. . #BlackBotanistsWeek has been such an #inspiration because it reminds me that I am not really alone in my love for #plants and that many other Black people all over the world also feel a deep #connection to the land and plants that sustain all of us. — Terri Long 🌱
