Osgood was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent ahead of the 2003 NFL season. He saw some playing time in his first two seasons with the team, appearing in all 16 games and catching two touchdown passes each season. Prior to the 2006 season, he signed a four-year extension. kassimosgood was one of the best special teams players on the field, and was able to shift the momentum of the game by simply returning a kickoff or punt almost always giving the offense great starting position.
