RIP to #MuhammadAli. Check out this photo of the legendary boxer/activist visiting the campus of Jackson State in 1977. Thanks to JSU alum Eldna Bates Smith for sending us this photo from his visit. Her recount: "I've tried to capture moments since my first Polaroid camera. I got my first 35mm in college where I had the honor of taking pictures for the school newspaper. So when word spread...no it thundered...through the dorm that Muhammad Ali was on campus, I grabbed my camera hoping for a glimpse. There he was..in front of our dorm...that's why he's surrounded by females. Everyone wanted to touch him. I did too, but what was more important for me was to capture the moment. I remember getting on the Plaza wall to get a better angle. It wasn't my best picture. ..but it was by far my best moment. Rest In Peace...you were and always will be 'The Greatest.'" #RIPMuhammadAli
