You know.... I was sitting in my car as a local harlot was speaking ridiculously loud & it sparked my curiosity... Why is it that "To, Do, So & Go" don't all rhyme? Why is it Red & Read are spelled differently but are pronounced the same, however, read & read are pronounced differently (your mind read them different didn't they?) Why is it "there, their & they're" are spelled different but pronounced the same? Granted context is pivotal regarding the use of these words to determine if the words are used corrected but would that mean context was created prior to the creation of these words? Also why is it that Letters like "W" & "U" sound as if there were a different letter at the beginning of them? I could've swore I asked this question when I was in grade school but my memory is failing me...
