WQLN's Kathy Woodard, 2023 Woman Making History Honoree mcwerie --- She joined the WQLN team in 2007 as an Education Coordinator to fulfill her desire to make a difference in the world. As the Educational Services Director, she has created the WQLN STREAM Machine (science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, and mathematics), a mobile classroom that delivers educational outreach directly to neighborhoods. This program was launched in August of 2022 and, in five months, distributed 809 books and 643 STREAM kits and served nearly 600 students. --- We are honored to have had her at wqlnpbsnpr for the past 16 years, where she continues to inspire and make impactful differences in the community year after year.
