To celebrate the May 22 premiere of the Great American Read PBS, we've asked our staff to reveal their favorite books. Our fearless leader, Tom New chose The Goldfinch by Donna Tart - winner of the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Tom does say that The Mouse and Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary is responsible for his love of reading early on. You can check either book out at the Erie County Public Library, a sponsor of the Great American Read! The list of 100 books has been revealed and voting begins May 22!
