Eight years ago I lost a dear friend to cancer. Today would have been her 63rd birthday. I never stop thinking of Ali - how her chance to age alongside us was taken away. None of us know what’s around the corner so coming across this nugget of advice today was poignant. I never take the fact that I’m lucky to be ageing for granted.
