Ohweee this bird was thick! This is a Capon... its rooster meat raised to be especially delicious, and this was by far the best poultry meat I’ve ever had. Got this from wildforkfoods and it weighed 9.7 pounds 😳 Full of flavor, lots of fat, and the skin was unlike any I’ve had. Slathered this in sauce Mayo and then my new rub “bang bang” before a nice cook on the hastybakegrills over jealousdevilcharcoal “max briquettes” and cherry wood chunks.
