We can’t continue to demand justice after tragedies happen. We need to change things systemically in an attempt to prevent them. Bridges and bonds need to be built, education needs to take place, hearts need to be opened, and wounds need to be acknowledged, tended to and mended. I’m heartbroken and sickened by the fact that this continues to happen. I’m not anti police. I give them respect for trying their best to do a job that’s incredibly difficult under extreme circumstances day after day. They are humans, doing the best they can. I don’t care where you stand politically, where you’re from or what you believe. As a black man/minority/African American/ person of color all I want is for EVERYONE to be treated EQUALLY, as humans 💯I shouldn’t have to say that all blacks/minorities aren’t criminals, thugs or whatever stereotype you choose to see us as.
