This week I have been daydreaming about a new cocina! I’ve thought about extending our cabinetry to our eat-in kitchen, but I love these shelves too much. They give our space character and the perfect space for me to display some of my favorite pieces. These shelves were my first purchase when we bought our home. I stopped at an oriental rug store that was going out of business in hopes to find some rugs, and instead found these amazing solid teak shelves for $150 each. I called my husband and said, “Hurry, bring the truck!” Anyway, back to my cocina — it’s gonna take some time to figure out what I want and like. One day I like neutral cabinets and the next I like bold color. Maybe I’ll keep it classic white with splashes of color…who knows?? All I know is that I’m bored with my all-white kitchen and want a change.
