I try not to get political on social media, but yesterday I was ready to erupt! I was just agitated all day. And I realize it was because I miss El Paso. Yesterday, I was so irritated knowing that the President was in my hometown spreading falsehoods about the border city I was born and raised in. I grew up one mile from the Mexico border in the lower valley. I never felt unsafe growing up or when I go home to visit. El Paso is one of safest cities in the United States of America! Living on a border is a blessing — full of family, music, culture, food. That’s what makes El Paso! Celebrating a wall is not who El Paso is!!!
