This week has been pretty darn incredible!! I never thought I would be the cruising type, but carnival has made me a cruise lover 🚢 The best part is sharing this experience with my family! Thank goodness I was able to convince my hubby to take vacation and to pull kiddos out of school and sports. My favorite part about this cruise was all the stops at the different ports. So many favorites, but the Dominican Republic was pretty darn spectacular. We went on an ecological tour and after ducking through a few narrow passageways, we arrived at Hoyo Azul (Blue Hole). The fresh water pool is actually a cenote, a sinkhole resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath. These turquoise waters have a depth of 37 meters (105 feet) in its deepest point. I even jumped off a 10 foot cliff, which was beyond frightening 😱 I plan to share all our cruise adventures on my blog and would love to hear from you!!!
