Happy Sunday amigos!! We are on our way home after a fun family spring break weekend in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The highlight of our trip was a hike to Hanging Lake. The elevation of Hanging Lake is 7,323 ft. The trailhead begins at an elevation of 6,387 feet above sea level and climbs 936 feet over approximately one mile. Which basically means it is a very steep and rocky trail, and at this time of the year, some of the trails are icy and slushy. The rugged trail follows a beautiful stream and there are epic views at every turn. And once you make it to the top it’s magical!!!
