My kids and I were so thrilled when pixarcoco was awarded two Oscars for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song! I sat there with a huge smile on my face reminiscing about making tamales with herdeztraditions and thedelicious inspired by the flavors and magic of pixarcoco. It was such an honor to be a part of their special project. Before I even saw the movie I knew it was going to be a hit. As you may or may not know I am a huge fan of celebrating Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and this movie was stunningly animated and a beautiful tribute to family and Mexican culture.
