#TempleMadeTuesday, Owls! This week we are featuring Brooklyn Community Pride Center (lgbtbrooklyn) where alumnus, Floyd Rumohr (center), TFMA ’88, serves as CEO. For a long time, Brooklyn’s large LGBTQ+ population found themselves having to travel into Manhattan for wellness services and community interaction. With the introduction of Brooklyn Community Pride Center, they have been able to find a place to feel safe, seen, and understood, that is close to home. After 10 years with one center, a second was opened in Crown Heights in November, offering even more social connection and comradery for the LGBTQ+ community. Read the full story and interview with Rumohr at the link in our bio and also check out how you can join our Alumni Business Directory.
