She would have been 27 today, if she had not been murdered by Louisville, KY police in her own home during their no-warrant raid for narcotics - which was unverified and unsuccessful as there were no narcotics on the premises. She was murdered in cold blood by white police officers who did not identify themselves as law enforcement before forcing their way into her home and firing on her and her boyfriend.
