You see, black folks aren’t dealing with the death of #GeorgeFloyd- we are dealing with 400 years of systematic racism that told white people it was ok to kill black people WHILE telling black people to shut the fuck up about it. I do not condone the violence. However, I honestly couldn’t care less if a store is burned to the ground as long as the owners of said store is safe. You know why? BECAUSE I VALUE LIFE. NOT PROPERTY. So when you band wagoners jumped OFF the #BlackLivesMatter train bc you saw looting but never asked yourself what it must feel like to be oppressed SO much that your people could BE CHASED DOWN BY WHITE MEN IN THE STREET AND SHOT LIKE A DOG and your white friends would say OUT LOUD “well let’s wait for all the facts to come out”!
