This is happening far too often in America. If you are not outraged at this, you better not be outraged at a damn thing. Not about having to wear a mask, encroaching on rights and freedoms, nothing. How can these police officers so callously ignore a man’s cry for help as they choke out his last breaths with a knee on his neck? ...but we are the ones who are wrong when we #TakeAKnee or scream out #BlackLivesMatter? MY LIFE MATTERS!! #GeorgeFloyd’s life matters! For more than 10 minutes this went on. Where is the human decency? The care for another human’s life? If we as a nation, as a people, cannot honor the life of our neighbor and hold those in power accountable, especially those in power, we do not honor anything. This is absolutely heartbreaking.
