The Miners win! ⛏ · Sussex County blanked the Trois-Rivières Aigles, 5-0, to take Game 2 of the canamleague semifinals. The Miner of the Game, Kenny Koplove, threw the second complete game in as many nights for Sussex County. Kenny shut out the Aigles, allowing only five hits while fanning six. Designated hitter Daniel Mateo powered the offense again, going 3-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI, including a two-run bomb in the seventh inning. First baseman Audy Ciriaco went 3-for-4, scoring a run and driving in another. The Miners now return home leading 2-0 in the semifinal series.
