🪴🥀Deadly nightshade ☠️🌿 —what a mood! This was a huge challenge for me to create all around but it came out beautifully! From the top—I colored yards upon yards of chiffon multiple times to create something that appeared organic. It was never meant to be a perfect blend. I wanted to use a variety of poisonous, tropical, and carnivorous plants in lieu of just typical ivy. I created hand beaded “bleeding heart” dangles to add interest without overdoing it with rhinestones like I usually do. Bleeding hearts are gorgeous and poisonous…look them up! I wanted the velvet to be noticeable like fuzz on a stem. I love the contrast in textures. The inspiration was taken from a mental picture of the life cycle of a flower. Full bloom, losing petals, and finally just a stem.
