Beyond thrilled to be celebrating Gene Winfield's 90th Birthday tonight hosted by the talented mitziandco! Gene is one of my favorite people. His passion for life and his work is contagious. I feel fortunate to have had many long conversations and dances with this wonderful man! He helped me campaign for Miss Viva Las Vegas when I barely knew anyone. People would come up to his table for an autograph and photo and the first thing he would say was: "have you met Ginger? She's going to be famous. You need her autograph too". I completely laughed it off but he pulled me aside and told me that he truly believed it and that I would do great things in my life. Though he is much older than most...he can dance circles around the young. I admire and cherish everything that he has done.
