Each year, Army ROTC, Air Force ROTC and Navy/Marine Corps ROTC participate in the annual Joint Service Presidential Pass In Review on Nickerson Field. In 1999, they celebrated the 80th Anniversary of the establishment of ROTC at BU with The First Battalion of the 101st Field Artillery (oldest field artillery unit in the country dating back to 1636) on hand to fire an artillery salute. #NickTurns100
