40 years ago, #BU hosted an International Track Association (ITA) tour event featuring 1972 Olympian and shot put record holder Brian Oldfield along with 1968 Olympic steeplechase silver medalist Ben Jipcho. Trying to be similar to professional golf and tennis with prize money, the ITA lasted from 1972-76 and was making its 13th of 15 scheduled stops in 1975 at Nickerson Field. #NickTurns100
