This is Kristen BorderFreeTravels taking over! My friend KirstenAlana and I will be sharing some of our favorite moments from our Outer Banks adventure throughout the weekend. The Outer Banks has so many striking similarities in the landscapes to the island I call home (Nantucket) and is one of the reasons I’ve always longed to visit! The beaches are beautiful...just like home -- I was so happy we were able to meet Willem, the beautiful white half Arabian horse pictured above. I particularly enjoyed driving down to Hatteras Island for the day one afternoon -- Kirsten went riding while I photographed and filmed the experience. I worked up quite a sweat trying to keep up!
