One more @uncfieldhockey post, but it's a ✨sentimental✨ post so read it out. I realized today that I've pretty much learned photography while covering the UNC field hockey program over the past two years. One of the first games that I covered at UNC was the Tar Heels vs. Princeton (which eventually became a rematch in the national championship). It was a thrilling game and Marissa Creatore scored with literally *seconds* remaining on the clock to give UNC the win. In the time in between, I’ve been fortunate enough to cover two (!!!) UNC national championships and a bunch of wins from this awesome program. I've learned a bunch about photography since then, but it's kind of sentimental to go back and look at those photos as compared to the photos from Sunday's national championship — my last game covering UNC field hockey. In short, thank you UNC field hockey for allowing me to photograph one of the best athletic programs in the country over the past few years. You have a forever fan...
