YEAR IN REVIEW: Volleyball is one of my favorite sports to photograph, mostly because of the celebrations following after each point. But it's also a challenging sport to photograph given that the ball is constantly in motion in all different directions. Similar COVID-19 restrictions followed me into the volleyball arena. When I went to Duke, I was all the way basically in the rafters. My favorite angle for volleyball is floor level, when you can see how vertical these players get in their jumps.
