YEAR IN REVIEW: Like the rest of the country, residents of Chapel Hill and Orange County took to the streets in protest over the death of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and other Black citizens killed by police actions. Early June saw several Black Lives Matter protests in Chapel Hill and Hillsborough. I was stunned to see the crowds number in the hundreds, maybe even thousands.
