YEAR IN REVIEW: Much like field hockey, I went into photographing lacrosse with not much knowledge of the sport. I was only able to photograph a handful of @uncwlax and @uncmenslacrosse games before the shutdown. The women's game vs. Louisville was the last sports game I photographed before everything shut down. It's disappointing that these teams weren't able to complete their seasons. The women's team was ranked first in the nation and was just coming off a beatdown over Top-5 Maryland in Chapel Hill. The men's team was similarly undefeated. Both teams would have made a run at the natty in 2020.
