Cool little story behind this photo... I was on a hike with some friends walking through #GardenOfEden in #SantaCruz and we approached this stream we had to cross over. I started walking across with my shoes on, trying to step on only the dry rocks. Halfway across, I decide that my camera needs to go back in my backpack before I eat shit and fall in the water. As I'm putting my lens cap on and my camera into my bag, my lens cap falls off into the water. After we all made it to the other side, we all took our shoes off, rolled up our pants, and went searching my for my cap. I found it about 10 minutes later but since the water was so nice, we decided to just hang out at this spot for a couple hours, which allowed me to break out my tripod and start taking long exposures from inside the stream. So all in all, I'm glad I'm an idiot who dropped my lens cap in the water. If I hadn't, I probably wouldn't have taken the time to get my feet wet in order to get this shot 😁 Many, many more to ...
