JADEN KAA'GE'ZHII'KOT 🙏🏾❤ repost tba_prep It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that we announce the tragic loss of one of our own, brother Jaden Cyrus White Kaa’ge’zhii’kot, 22, passed into the spirit world on the morning of April 2, 2021. Jaden (a.k.a. Kotty Kot or Big O) hails from the Ojibwe Naotkamegwanning (Ne-adikamegwaning) Anishinaabe First Nation. I cannot begin to describe Jaden or tell his story in this one post alone. Jaden was a keen young learner and a powerful athlete, someone you'd want on your side. He was among the hardest working youths we've ever met. Coming from a rural First Nations reserve background, he endured hardships that our urban youths cannot imagine. Jaden went to school far from home, lived through privation, and never stop persevering through it all.
