Our #MoodySpotlight this week is Sofia Guerra! Guerra (she/her) is a senior Communications Studies major on the Political Communications track from San Antonio, TX. Guerra loves being a #TEXASMoody student because of the opportunity to learn from such accomplished, caring professors. “They truly care about their students and making sure they succeed.” Guerra chose to study Political Communications with the goal of attending law school in the future, while being able to work in politics during undergrad. “This degree has allowed me to learn so much about political communications through classes on public opinion, political narratives, campaigns and civic participation.” Guerra’s favorite memory at #TEXASMoody is getting to design a professional research study on misinformation with Professor Palomares.
