#MoodySpotlight: Today, we’re highlighting Marysa Barela from Roswell, New Mexico! Marysa (she/her) is a junior studying Journalism. “My time at Moody College has been one of the most welcoming, insightful and thrilling experiences of my life!” Barela says her favorite #TEXASMoody memory was #MoodyCARES because of the positive impact she felt from being around all the food and animals. And our next #MoodyCARES is on March 7th from 11 - 1 pm at Walter Cronkite Plaza! “I chose to study Journalism because I fell in love with the entire process of creating a publication when I did Yearbook in high school.” She is excited about the many opportunities that come with pursuing a career in media. Outside of class, Barela is involved in the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and being a Bevo Buddy!
