She is at #TEXASMoody to study utexasrtf because it is one of the most prestigious film programs in the nation. As an international student, navigating campus life was initially a bit overwhelming. Still, she was able to surround herself with the international student community to go through the journey together. But her biggest challenge as an international student is the language barrier. “Being surrounded by native speakers, it’s hard not to feel self-conscious while speaking in an unfamiliar language.” Even though she is slowly adjusting to life in her new home, she still misses Taiwan, including her family and food.
