#MoodySpotlight: Today, we’re featuring Esme Aguilar (she/her/hers), a utexascld junior from Austin, Texas! Originally studying International Relations, Esme switched to Communication & Leadership after realizing it was a better fit to pursue her passions and focus on building communication skills. “Transferring to Moody has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life. I feel empowered to lead and learn in and beyond the classroom.” She especially loved connecting with other students and felt equipped with mental health services from events like #MoodyCARES. So check it out this Wednesday! Esme stays busy on campus both outside and within #TEXASMoody. She is the President of the Student Foundation, a member of utcommcouncil and a trIG mentor! Currently, she is also interning with the City of Austin under the Public Information & Community Engagement department. Through this opportunity, she was able to assist with the 2022-2023 City Budget Proposal!
