That range gives me a lot of flexibility to quickly switch from 24mm all the way to 500mm. Because the EOS R3 image quality is so good at extremely high ISOs like 12,800, I can still keep my shutter speed fast enough to freeze the action even when closing down my aperture to f/7.1. I use the EOS R5 and the EOS-1D X Mark III for remotes. By setting them around the stage, I get unique angles that no one else can.
