In 1961, the ‘Top Ten College Women’ (then known as ‘The Ten Best Dressed College Girls of America’) took part in the Glamour Fashion Show, which was hosted at #CarnegieHall. I love how at a time when women weren’t expected to seek higher education, this program paved the way and Carnegie Hall helped to celebrate the record breaking number of young women (more than a million!) going off to college.
