American conductor, choral director, and educator Robert Shaw made his #CarnegieHall headlining debut at the age of 26, leading his ensemble the Collegiate Chorale, alongside numerous speakers, including Charlie Chaplin and Orson Welles. In addition to his many Carnegie Hall performances, his 1990–1998 choral workshops inspired generations of choral singers.
