"Nature is often referred to as 'food for the soul.' As a landscape and outdoor photographer who normally is in nature and now is not, it’s been quite different, and even challenging at times, not having that constant exposure and the 'food for my soul' that I’m so used to. However, instead of being negative and focusing on what I can’t control, I’m doing my best to stay positive and focus on what I can control, learning, growing, and staying creative during this time. I was inspired by several creatives, and challenged by my friends at canonusa, to step outside of my comfort zone and use shots I’ve taken in the outdoors as inspiration, and recreate them out of food items--the food for my soul, turned into a foodscape!
