This window, one of five #stainedglass windows at the front of Carnegie Hall, was designed by Alice Cordelia Morse, who was employed by the firm of Louis C. Tiffany where she worked in the woman’s glass studio, painting glass and studying design. Morse was most known as a designer of book covers, but her original drawings and designs for Carnegie Hall’s stained glass windows are in the collection of the CooperHewitt Smithsonian Design Museum. #regram #carnegiehall #CHfacts #CHtreasures #archilovers #themoreyouknow 📷: colincolinc3
